• ▸Open Source Survey: Your email address, the reasons you selected, and any free-text response you provide.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment data, or any other personal information through these forms.

◈ Why We Collect It (Purpose)

• ▸Waitlist email: To notify you when Council Zero launches and about early access opportunities.
• ▸Open source survey: To understand demand for an open source version and make an informed product decision.

◈ Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))

We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You provided this consent when you checked the consent checkbox before submitting the form. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at info@councilzero.com — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

◈ Data Processors

We use the following third-party data processor acting on our behalf:

• ▸Scaleway SAS — 8 rue de la Ville-l'Évêque, 75008 Paris, France. Role: hosting and infrastructure. All data is stored in the Scaleway Paris (PAR) region, within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Scaleway processes data solely on our instructions and under a data processing agreement compliant with GDPR Art. 28.

◈ International Transfers

We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). All data is stored and processed exclusively in Scaleway's Paris (PAR) region, within the EEA.

◈ Data Retention

We retain your data until you request deletion or until 2 years after your last interaction with us, whichever comes first. After that period, your data is permanently deleted from our systems.

◈ Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

Council Zero is not directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at info@councilzero.com and we will delete it promptly.

◈ Cookies & Tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tools.

We use localStorage solely to store your theme preference (key: council-theme). This value is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to any server.

◈ Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purposes. The only third party with access to your data is Scaleway SAS, acting as our infrastructure processor under a GDPR-compliant data processing agreement.
